To get further inspiration for this project I began looking at videos on youtube explaining the journey to the moon. During my research, I came across this video.

The video used official NASA imagery dated back from the 50’s and animated it using editing software. Which I thought was visually appealing.
I decided to look into the art style they used for the official NASA imagery drawn, which can be seen here. The art style in question is called Retro Futurism (Aka Retro Space art / Vintage Space art).
I feel like this art style is a good reflection of what media was like back in the 50’s/60’s. Not only space themed, but generally.
A lot of the items or services that were for sale were generally illustrated.
There are however art styles which are very similar where people have used photoshop to create creative images of what people pictured to be like in the future, with a surrealistic touch.
