Looking what my CV I’ve used for years looks like compared to what’s out there, I can admit that I’m embarassed to have it say that I’m a Graphic designer as a merit.

I began by looking around online for any inspirations for a CV, and what they could potential look like now when I had finally realised what creative freedome I can use designing my CV.

Pinterest inspirations

One tool that I use a lot to look for inspiration is mainly pinterest, since it’s a quick and easy way to find ideas and to be able to store designs you like in a folder.

I wanted to have a clean and minimalistic CV, with one accent colour. But I wasn’t sure how to properly line up the document, below are a few inspirations I found when looking through pinterest.

Sketching the layout

To start of, I need a general idea of what sort of hierachy is necessary when making a CV, this is because the most important information should be at the top, as well as the most recent so that the employers can see the most valuable information about me that I will include on my CV.

After Deciding on the hierarchy of my cv, I began sketching out potential layouts.

I did however experiment with the layout even though I had a clear hierachy in mind, just to see how I would be able to fit all the information into the document and also make it readable.
